If you were expecting a restaurant, market or cafe and landed on a listing in this group, it usually means the original source listed the business under an unusual or mixed category rather than a plain food label. Contact information, address and hours are still pulled from the same public data used across Hollywood and Florida, so they should be accurate even where the category is not a perfect fit. Because this group spans everything from medical clinics to auto shops to gift stores, there is no single etiquette or norm that applies across it; treat each listing on its own terms and call ahead if the category alone does not tell you what you need to know.

Hollywood is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Hollywood is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I’ve been at this establishment probably close to 10 times. It feels like each and every time the amount of meat is getting less. Yesterday I decided to order from them through Uber Eats. The amount of meat in Plov was probably 50 grams per bowl. The bawls are incredibly small - so know that you are paying $18 for a portion that is much smaller than in the store and you are getting barely any meat. The shawarma was very soggy, and felt like soup in a wrap. Way too much cabbage. Not eating even half through it broke down entirely. I left picture reviews before when coming there in person, without a star rating. This time they went too far. They really need to do something with the food they serve, this is unacceptable.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ We visited with a group of friends. The place was clean ✨, the staff were friendly, and we had a nice experience. We ordered osh (plov), manti, somsa, cakes, and compote. The manti was the best 👌. The somsa, sweets, and compote were also really good. The only dish that disappointed me was the osh. I’d rate it 3/5. As an Uzbek 🇺🇿, I don’t think the food is fully authentic Uzbek cuisine. It feels like Uzbek food adapted more to Russian tastes, which takes away some of the traditional flavors. Overall, I’d still give it 4/5 ⭐. If you’re looking for tasty Central Asian food, it’s definitely worth visiting. If you know authentic Uzbek food, you’ll notice the difference, but it’s still a good place with quality food and a clean environment.

I had such a great experience here! Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and was beautifully presented. The service was friendly, and it was the perfect place to try traditional Uzbek cuisine. My favorite dish of the night was definitely the fried beef dumplings they were perfectly crispy on the outside with a juicy, flavorful filling. The chebyrek was another standout. It arrived piping hot, and each bite was packed with delicious meat in a delicate dumpling. The manti were also incredibly tender and full of flavor. I also really enjoyed the Tashkent Wedding Pilaf, which was rich, comforting, and cooked perfectly. The grilled liver was surprisingly tender and well-seasoned, making it one of the highlights of the meal. Everything we ordered was delicious, and you can really tell the restaurant takes pride in its food. If you’re looking to experience authentic Uzbek cuisine, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. I’ll definitely be back!

We ordered takeout and the experience was very disappointing. Website said 15 min wait but we waited over 30 minutes. Packaging was terrible — the paper bag ripped apart while taking it out of the car because everything leaked through the bottom. Barely managed to save the food. Portions were extremely small. Some dishes tasted good, but the beshbarmak was disappointing both in flavor and portion size. The lamb kebab had only 5 tiny pieces of meat, which is honestly ridiculous for the price. Meanwhile the owner keeps claiming they have the biggest portions in South Florida. We actually visited this place about a year ago when they first opened and they already had issues with slow service and organization back then. We thought it was just because they were new, but a year later nothing has improved — if anything it got worse. Really disappointing overall.

I recently tried Osh Tea Room and it honestly exceeded my expectations. For context, I’ve been to Chayhana Oasis, which I think is really solid. Compared to that, Grandma’s Secret feels more like a lower-tier alternative — similar style, but not quite the same level of quality. That being said, Osh Tea Room really stands out and might actually be one of the best spots in the Lauderdale area. The laghman (hand-pulled noodles) was the highlight — especially the soup version. The broth was rich and aromatic, and the noodles had a great chewy texture. I personally preferred the soup, while my friend liked the stir-fried version more. Both are good, but the soup feels more special. The lamb plov was decent — pretty standard compared to other places, nothing particularly standout but still enjoyable. We also ordered the skirt steak kebab, which was nicely charred on the outside and tender inside, with a light cumin flavor that tasted very authentic. The only minor downside is that the portion size is a bit on the smaller side, but the pricing is reasonable, so it balances out. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place. If you’re in the Broward area, it’s absolutely worth trying
